Trunk-or-Treats Bring Halloween Fun to Colusa County
COLUSA, Calif. — Families across Colusa County will have several chances to celebrate the fall season and Halloween with community events hosted in Williams and Colusa later this month.
The Williams Elementary and Williams Upper Elementary PTO will kick off the festivities with a Fall Harvest Festival on Thursday, Oct. 23, beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Williams Elementary School, 1404 E Street. The evening will feature games, food, and prizes, including pumpkin ring toss, a rubber duck pool, and face art. The event ends at 6:30 p.m., and tickets will be sold at the door, cash only.
The Colusa County Chamber of Commerce and Colusa County Fairgrounds will host a community Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, Oct. 25, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Colusa Fairgrounds parking lot. Local businesses and residents are encouraged to decorate vehicles and hand out candy. To reserve a space, call or text Sue Gibbs at 530-415-1633. Costumes are encouraged, and all community members are welcome.
Wrapping up the month, the City of Williams Parks and Recreation Department will present its Halloween Trunk-or-Treat on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Venice Park. The free event will include food, games, and prizes.
