Studebaker enthusiasts gathered in Arbuckle on Sept. 13 for International Drive Your Studebaker Day, honoring the town’s historic Atran’s Garage, once the oldest Studebaker dealership. Founded in 1889 by Alex Atran as a blacksmith shop, it evolved into a Studebaker dealership serving the community for 75 years. The event reunited the Atran family and locals, recalling memories of the business’s role in Arbuckle’s past. For Francee Atran-Gatejen, it celebrated family legacy, community ties, and a hometown’s enduring spirit.
